It’s now legal for Canadians to grow cannabis at home — as of January, official online retailers in Ontario, Alberta, British Columbia, Nova Scotia, New Brunswick and Newfoundland and Labrador offer seeds for sale.
To make home growing easy and discreet, North Vancouver-based company Stealth Boxdesigned a product to help anyone produce their own cannabis using seeds or clones. The lockable 20 x 20 x 36-inch (50.8 x 50.8 x 91.44-centimetre) cabinet won’t look out of place among the furniture in your home, and is quiet and odour neutral.
The box is sized to grow up to four plants, the legal limit per household in Canada (except in Quebec and Manitoba, where home growing isn’t allowed). It comes with all the grow equipment needed, including soil, nutrients and a step-by-step guide.
Here’s more information on how the Stealth Box works:
With low-draw LED lighting and fans, the Stealth Box doesn’t use too much electricity — it’s like running a computer or small appliance. The grow cycle takes an average of 12-16 weeks, and yields 2-4 oz. of cannabis — that’s 5+ mason jars.
